Early Career Researchers working on topics in the interdisciplinary fields of hydropower, fish and river connectivity are invited to participate in the HydroFish2020 Twitter conference to present their research on October 20th.
The Twitter conference will:
- Increase the visibility and publicity of your research
- Encourage interaction with other researchers and public engagement from around the world
- Be a chance for you to hone your skills in presenting your work in a concise yet understandable manner
- Be accessible to everyone and free of charge
How can you present your work?
HydroFish2020 presenters are invited to condense their research into a max. 10 Tweet Thread. Each presenter is given a timeslot of 20 min. (10 - 15 min. to present their work and 5 – 10 min. to answer questions) for their presentation. The audience can then interact with the presenter by commenting and asking questions.
A presenter’s guide will be made available shortly. You can find more information on the conference and how it works on the HydroFish2020 conference site.
To become a presenter, all you need to do is fill out a short application form with information on your research, the topic of your talk and 2-3 keywords related to your work - no extensive abstract is needed. We will inform applicants about their participation by October 7th.
